Advancements in Sustainable Manufacturing Supply Chain Modelling: a Review

Managers at various echelons of supply chains are continuously faced with problems examining and improving chain processes the aim productivity customer service level, while reducing emissions total costs simultaneously. This study is aimed presenting trends in sustainable manufacturing modelling order to establish approaches which have predominantly been used for from years 2010 2020. The employs systematic literature review methodology reviewing articles published within 11-year period. We proffer a classification approach models, grouping these models into mathematical simulation hybrid their subcategories. results showed that though there rising trend use more modelling. rise can be explained by fact tend handle uncertain stochastic data better than perform deterministic data. research will aid other researchers recognising current gaps identify future directions.
